In observance of September being National Yoga Month, classes will be offered to residents at the Crawford House on September 9th, 16th, 23th and 30th at 11:15 a.m. free of charge by Samantha Gilmore.

Thanks to efforts of Dave Millam and KCP & L, residents of the Nevada Housing Authority are benefiting from having a work station in the community room at the Crawford House that can be used for their individual needs.

Public notice is given that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Long Term Care Centers and NRMC will hold a meeting Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.

The City of Nevada, Missouri is accepting applications for a City Treasurer. Duties include but are not restricted to managing daily operations of the finance department and the utility billing department, administering the fiscal functions of the city, preparing financial reports, assisting the City Manager with the annual budget, maintaining a record of all the City’s assets, and coordinating and preparing schedules for the City’s annual audit.
